Bathymetric LiDAR surveys are a critical component in the generation of hydrographic data. However, the quality of bathymetric LiDAR surveys can be limited by suspended particles in the water column.
The creation of a space time cube utilizing Esri technology facilitated a time series analysis of turbidity patterns. The application of GIS enabled the seamless aggregation of turbidity data, and filled in historical data gaps to gain a better understanding of turbidity trends over time.
