Brief demo by Esri solution engineer John Fry of the ability to analyze and display ship automatic identification system (AIS) data in ArcGIS Analytics for IoT, ArcGIS Enterprise GeoEvent Server, and ArcGIS Pro. This is all with an eye toward combating illegal, unreported, unregulated (IUU) fishing, as well overall maritime situational awareness. If a vessel is NOT broadcasting with AIS, the ArcGIS platform can still track vessels via solutions able to detect radio frequency (RF) signals instead.
