Geostatistical Analyst: Concepts and Applications of Kriging

This workshop will provide a clear, practical foundation of the most widely-used interpolation method in GIS: kriging. Attendees will learn about best practices for applying these concepts, assumptions of the methods, and how to put the results into practice. Empirical Bayesian Kriging (EBK) will be demonstrated in 2D and 3D and allows accurate interpolation with minimal options that can be easily automated. In 2D, you will learn how to incorporate explanatory variables to improve the interpolation, and in 3D, you will learn how to visualize and explore the results as a voxel layer.
