Employees and organizations are adjusting to hybrid work and
efficient space management is critical. Indoor geographic information system
(GIS) technology offers an intuitive system that allows users to gather and analyze
details about space usage, prompting data-driven decision-making.
In Washington state, King County needed a way to manage return-to-office operations for 14,500 employees, many of whom shifted to a hybrid work schedule during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the implementation of Esri’s ArcGIS Indoors, employees can easily find and reserve workspaces and communicate facilities concerns.
To deliver an exciting and intuitive office reservation experience to employees, King County integrated ArcGIS Indoors with familiar technology, like Microsoft 365, allowing for smart building management across the organization.
