Turnarounds are one of the most expensive (and labor intensive) but routine aspects of refinery and manufacturing plant operations involving a lot of stakeholder coordination, planning and effective execution. As it involves planned downtime for operations for different reasons – revamping, new construction, inspection etc, it poses an added safety risk for personnel and the facility.
