Colorado DOT GIS Applications & Data Services Unit Manager, Roberto Avila, discusses how using Survey123 for ArcGIS with the Spike laser measurement device supported the success of their highway signs inventory project. Using Survey123 to record information about each sign, including measurements accurately taken with a Spike device, streamlined what was previously a time consuming effort for field crews. According to Avila, use of Survey123 with Spike enabled the completion of the data collection project to go "from months to minutes!"
