"Hybrid threat is an existing challenge in Europe today. Facing irregular threats like terrorism or cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure day by day. What would happen, if someone structures multiple vectors of aggression and combines them into an target-oriented strategy? European societies have already tasted the atrocity of selective attack vectors taking full advantage of the weakness of modern, free, digitized societies. What, if we do not even understand the attack until it is too late? What if we do not have proper answers to an hybrid approach, that does not trigger crisis response nor military activity but creates axiomatic precedents. The occupation of Crimea is an impressive example of these tactics and procedures, that the European societies are just beginning to understand. Europa is calling them hybrid warfare.
The presentation provides an analytic view on hybrid warfare considering its measurements carefully. Geospatial analytics is one of the key factors to understand the intention of potential adversaries and then declining back the attack vectors that may be taken to conduct partial effects. LTC Kozok is leading through this analysis by providing samples and deeply impressive pictures including geospatial explanations of the overall targets for Europe’s adversaries."
