ArcGIS Indoors: Creating and Maintaining an Indoor GIS

An indoor GIS provides a foundation to a number of solutions in the indoor realm including asset mapping, way finding, workspace reservation, space planning, occupancy mapping, and more. To achieve this, you must first establish your indoor GIS. In this session, you will learn how to take building floor plans from CAD and BIM and transform them into a geodatabase information model of your building�s interior to create and share 2D and 3D indoor maps to power an indoor GIS. You will also learn best practices for the update data lifecycle between CAD/BIM for your indoor GIS modeled in the geodatabase.
