This video’s ArcGIS Pro UI is based on Version 2.8.2.
The latest 2.9 and later release’s UI may look slightly different.
This video guides how to operate a room hotel reservation system with Microsoft 365 across indoor applications. The space planner, mobile map, and Viewer app need to pull the same hosted feature layers to work across the applications. The room hoteling system requires prerequisite plannings including:
1. Microsoft 365 with room mailbox for each space
2. Office spaces with proper assignment type in the unit feature layer
3. Reservation feature layer as an alternative to Microsoft 365 (not covered in this video)
Tips on operating and managing Microsoft 365 driven room hoteling through ArcGIS Online:
1. Identify and authorize the organization's personnel that will be responsible for managing office and meeting room spaces.
2. Determine Office365 (or Reservation layers option) in advance if the organization plans to use hoteling or meeting room features
3. Have room mailbox for all office cubes, meeting rooms, auditorium spaces, etc that can be assigned for hotel spaces
