This presentation will provide information about POWER’s suite of tools that enhance decision-making for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure projects worldwide. To improve decisions in high-value sectors at any location in the world, the NASA Prediction Of Worldwide Energy Resources (POWER) provides freely available, easily accessible, customized, and trusted solar and meteorological data for both current and future climates. POWER provides over 300 parameters, derived from NASA Earth Observing (EO) data, that support community research in three focus areas: 1) renewable energy development, 2) building energy efficiency, and 3) agroclimatology applications. POWER helps communities to be resilient amid observed climate variability through the easy access of data products via several access methods and tools. This presentation will inform users about POWER’s ArcGIS Image Services, Data Access Viewer enhanced (created via Esri's Calcite Design System), and Application Programming Interface. Additionally, POWER’s entire data product catalog available through Amazon Web Services (AWS) Open Data Registry (ODR) via a free and publicly accessible Simple Storage Service (S3).
