At the Redlands Forum on October 10, 2024, David Yarnold, CEO of the National Audubon Society, introduced his book, "The Geography of Hope: Real-Life Stories of Optimists Mapping a Better World," which highlights extraordinary individuals who are transforming the world using "the most important technology you've probably never heard of." Through nine relatable stories of families, leadership, and collaboration, Yarnold revealed the significance of GIS in our lives in a nontechnical manner.
