Development Strategies for Desktop and Mobile Apps

ArcGIS provides developers with a wide range of SDKs, builders, and templates for creating desktop and mobile mapping applications. This session will provide an overview of the available options and their respective capabilities. We will discuss web technologies and no-code/low-code tools; as well as SDKs for creating custom standalone native apps, game engine apps, and extending existing ArcGIS desktop products. We will provide a transparent discussion of the pros and cons of each developer technology product and consider the multiple business, technology, and user factors that apply.
