Learn how to connect any third party API to ArcGIS using Koop. Koop is an open source framework built entirely with JavaScript that is easy to transform, query, and download geospatial data on the web, whether that data is stored in Socrata, ArcGIS Online, Github, Gist, or any other open data API. To connect an API to ArcGIS with Koop, you write an adapter that knows how to talk to the remote API and translate the response into GeoJSON. This can be accomplished in as little as 30 lines of code. Koop handles the rest by translating the geojson into the proper GeoServices API response. In this session you'll learn what it takes to build an adapter of your own.
