What is driving usage and adoption of geospatial technology within organizations? Traditionally adoptions comes in waves (due to hurricanes, smart cities, pandemics, etc.) due to drivers from emergencies and natural disasters, federal funding, or technology-driven advancements like cloud and mobile. But lately, GIS is being embraced as a critical infrastructure, a foundational technology that must be consistently prioritized and invested in.
