Change the PlaceholderText of the Search Tool in ArcGIS Instant Apps

In ArcGIS Instant Apps, the Search tool is used to find addresses and features in the data sources displayed in the app. For better user experience, it is sometimes necessary to customize the placeholder text of the Search tool to a specific preset text before a search value is typed.
