This session will be focused on what pbf data is, how it is different from JSON, and how it is handled using Esri’s newest addition to the REST API, ArcGIS Knowledge Servers. We will go through a walkthrough of a simple query of ArcGIS Knowledge data and its data model endpoints, and demonstrate the flow of how pbf byte stream ArcGIS Knowledge Graph data is transformed into something useful in a web application. Time permitting, we may also demonstrate how an apply edits “write” operation is constructed in the reverse direction.
