At ArcGIS 10.5, both GeoEvent and GeoAnalytics work with real-time and big data through the spatiotemporal option of the ArcGIS Data Store. Real-time observational data can come from moving objects, changing attributes of stationary sensors, or both. The spatiotemporal big data store enables the archival of observation data, sustains high-velocity write throughput, and runs across multiple nodes to enable high-volume storage. Additionally, GeoAnalytics Server now leverages the spatiotemporal big data store both as a data source and to store the results of big data analytics. This session will walk through how to configure your ArcGIS Data Store, write high-velocity data to it, visualize and query high-volume data via map and feature services, and use it for the input or results of distributed analytics.
