Address authorities use subdivision plats, new condominium developments, building permits, and feedback from key stakeholders to manage information in their address repository. While many address authorities have a central database of address information, the physical location of those addresses eludes them. Ensuring their address repository supports diverse information needs (ie. 911, permitting, billing, assessment and taxation) and is continuously improving can be challenging and time consuming.
At this meetup, we discussed how the new Address Data Management solution can help communities maintain an authoritative address repository, continuously improve the quality of address data, and share address information with internal and external stakeholders.
