Matthew Leibert, CIO for Allentown, PA explores the road to IT leadership at the 2022 Esri Public Sector CIO Summit. From his start in GIS, to multiple crises including COVID-19, Matthew presents his vision for expanding GIS use across not only the city, but the region. Matthew was also recognized as the inaugural award recipient of the Innovations in GIS Award for his leadership and ground-breaking work to incoprorate GIS capabilities into contact tracing efforts during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
