Amanda Huber, a GIS Technician for Three Rivers Park District & Blue Water GIS, discusses the unique story map she created to represent herself to future employers in a way that was a little more creative, and little more personable, than a typical cover letter and resume. She also shares about other story maps and apps she created for Three Rivers Park District, to help them monitor osprey nests and breeding patterns. Huber’s “My Portfolio of Work in GIS” story map was recognized and awarded honorable mention in the 2018 Esri Storytelling with Maps contest.
