This presentation will highlight the use of GIS technology in the US&R world and how it has changed our response. US&R has historically used some form of GIS technology but within the past two years, the US&R world has elevated its GIS game to put the capabilities for US&R teams on a completely new platform. We will discuss specifically how SC-TF1 got into utilizing GIS, how we took it from the beginning to where we are now, and how it's benefitted the entire US&R system, both state and federal. We will show progression over two hurricane seasons to show a true benefit of utilizing ESRI products like Survey 123 and Quick Capture.
