Tom Horan, Senecal Endowed Dean of the School of Business, delivers a keynote address introducing this initiative and describing the results of the first industry survey of GIS/location analytics use. The findings demonstrate that business use of location analytics is going through a substantial transformation, with 38 to 51 percent of those surveyed expecting high use in key business functions within the next three years.
