Many operators are currently embarked on a ‘digital transformation journey’, generally described as a quest to improve digital delivery/flexibility, and to simultaneously reduce costs in order to give them a competitive edge. It seems that current market pressures are accelerating those ambitions as operators large and small look to enable a remote workforce, replace man-hours with compute cycles and make better decisions by leveraging mobile apps, IoT, dashboards, logistics, analytics, digital twins, cloud computing, etc. This session will look at how spatial technologies contribute to these capabilities, by reviewing a range of projects and applications applied in dynamic and responsive environments.
