James Fallows welcomes back the morning speakers to participate in a panel discussion on what GIS tools are coming for their organization that they are most excited about and what the main challenges and trade offs are, moving forward. Responses include: the fact that mapping is more affordable and accessible that ever before, the emergence of machine learning and artificial intelligence, and the expansion into new departments and workflows that will lead to GIS being used as an intelligent nervous system across their government agency.
