Knowing that it was the same technology they also had access to, they thought, “Why can’t we do that?” Led by Chief Data Officer, Nick O’Day, with the support of Mayor Mike Bodker and Assistant City Manager Kimberly Greer, the city used GIS to shift to decision-making and prioritizing projects and resources, based on data.
