Learn the basics of web accessibility and implementation using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript from a developer's perspective. Starting from an overview of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the session will introduce the core knowledge and techniques for implementing accessible web components, including managing keyboard focus, writing semantic HTML, and applying WAI-ARIA for custom widgets. We will also discuss approaches to map accessibility and automated testing.
