Public health professionals quickly moved into response mode for COVID-19, working long hours to protect their communities, putting tried and true measures to work. Some, however, took the opportunity to create new approaches. Originally recorded as a session at the 2020 Virtual Preparedness Summit hosted by the National Association of City and County Health Officials (NACCHO), the second part in the five part series features Debbie Briedwell, the GIS Manager in the IT Services Division in the Office of Geospatial Information at the State of Missouri who demonstrates her organization’s work to jump in and support the local public health agencies by delivering GIS dashboards and authoritative data for decision-makers.
