Tiffany Wu is a Senior GIS Specialist at Maryland’s Montgomery Parks where she and a colleague make up a two-person GIS Unit that oversees thousands of park divisions’ assets using ArcGIS. In this feature, Tiffany details how using ArcGIS solutions to digitize plot inspections by the park’s Community Gardens team has reclaimed significant amounts of time and improved gardener retention. She also discusses the influence Esri Community has had in developing her skills, as well as inspiration she’s obtained from exposure to other members’ work.
In
this Member Spotlight from our monthly series, Tiffany demonstrates what it means to play a role in finding solutions, sharing ideas, and collaborating to solve problems with GIS.
