This video’s ArcGIS Pro UI is based on Version 2.8.2.
The latest 2.9 and later release’s UI may look slightly different.
This video guides how to operate a reservation layer system in ArcGIS Online. The ArcGIS Indoor’s reservation layer is an alternate solution for organizations without Microsoft 365 room mailbox system. The space planner, mobile map, and Viewer app need to pull the same hosted feature layers to work across the applications. The ArcGIS Indoor’s reservation layer requires prerequisite plannings including:
1. ArcGIS Pro 2.8 or later (2.9 or later release has the built-in reservations layers and associated new domain values and field in the units layer.)
2. Assign reservable spaces with reservation_method field in units feature layer
Tips on ArcGIS Indoors’ reservation layer driven room hoteling and meeting room through ArcGIS Online:
1. Identify and authorize the organization's personnel that will be responsible for managing office and meeting room spaces.
2. Determine the Reservation layers use in advance if the organization plans to use hoteling or meeting room features
3. Determine how and who will continue to manage room spaces hosted in ArcGIS Online cloud
