Spatial data science is an iterative process that extends beyond the run of one tool. Using a real-world voter turnout scenario, we’ll demonstrate an analysis workflow from start to finish, providing a framework for the spatial data science process. Starting with data engineering and visualization, we’ll prepare our data and begin exploration through visual analysis. Next, we’ll explore how to compare and evaluate different modeling techniques and learn how to apply them to make predictions. Finally, we’ll tie it all together and see how we can use our predictions to drive action.
