Stark County Health Department first experienced the power of location intelligence in 2020, when they decided to expand their GIS team. Hiring on Jorian Krob as a GIS manager, Jorian was able to use GIS to inform other projects outside of COVID-19. Together Jorian and communications specialist Chris Cugini, worked in using GIS to inform city leaders and as well as the public on current public health initiatives.
