To identify priority areas for conservation and management within the Coral Triangle (CT) region, our analysis included maps indicating the coverage of biogenic habitats, species ranges, species of conservation concern, restricted-range reef fish, and important areas for sea turtles. We performed a region-level and a site-based analysis, to assess the importance areas. Approximately 13% of the CT was clustered, and seven sites were considered as areas of highest biodiversity conservation values
