Esri’s ArcGIS allows simulation developers to leverage the extensive geospatial databases of the real world to quickly and accurately generate terrain. This real-world modeling allows the units training with these systems to train as they’ll fight with higher fidelity environments. These systems can also use ArcGIS to analyze training and simulation effects with extensive modeling tools for rendering line-of-sight viewsheds, network routing, or modeling plume effects. It also enables modelers to publish and render virtual databases with accurate authority through Unreal and Unity game engines.
