Managing physical PCs for high-performance mapping applications within an organization can be a costly and time-consuming process. Fortunately, virtualization of desktops and apps is available to help alleviate that cost. In addition, the availability of GPU backed virtual machines enable clients to use graphics intensive apps without sacrificing performance. This session will demonstrate options and best practices for building and deploying ArcGIS Runtime apps on virtual infrastructure solutions provided by Citrix, VMWare, Amazon and Microsoft.
