No one can deny that the world is a changing and evolving place. Traditional approaches to planning, designing, and building infrastructure (roads, bridges, buildings, airports) is no longer enough. Citizen and consumer demands are driving societal and sustainability indicators to measure success. As a result, AECs can no longer put their heads down and get the project done without looking ahead with their customers to understand and demonstrate the positive outcomes from any project. This session will explore how Geodesign can position these infrastructure projects in a new light that befits the owner/operators and the AEC firms who bring these projects to reality. We will also touch on how Geodesign connects to broader industry drivers that focus on building digital twins of these infrastructure assets to truly elevate how we plan, design, build and maintain them into the future.
