The NOAA NCEI Arctic Action Team developed a web map viewer, the NCEI Arctic Data Viewer Prototype, which ingests existing web map services from several data access endpoints across NCEI locations. The viewer holds a representative sampling of NCEIs Arctic data. Through this initial effort, we identified several compatibility issues and solutions, and explored ways to informatively display diverse data types, which will inform the ways in which we make our data useful and available to users.
