How the Virginia Fusion Center (VFC) changed its workflow following the December 13, 2018, hoax bomb threats that affected law enforcement and fire agencies nationwide. By leveraging new GIS solutions, the VFC can more effectively collect and organize information received into the center from multiple sources (state, local, federal, and private sector) during rapidly evolving incidents.
