Creating the preliminary transitions is the second step to building a network for indoor data. After running the geoprocessing tool, one will need to locate and identify the transitional passages within the building, and enhance geometry lines and their z-height values with the 3D line. Tips on creating preliminary transitions: 1. Have knowledge on Z-value editings for stairway transitions 2. Verify Preliminiary Pathways data has correct Z-values for each floor 3. If Z-values are incorrect in preliminiary pathways feature class, the preliminary transitions will inherit the incorrect information 4.
