In this video, our team demonstrates a common business scenario using ArcGIS for Excel. Here, a GIS user, was asked by their CEO at an EV startup to determine the appropriate San Fransisco zip codes to invest in or were showing increased demand for EV vehicles. Using ArcGIS for Excel's ArcGIS Function – ENRICHBYGEOGRAPHY, the user can pull the demographic data into Excel, and map out the Gen Z population specifically by zip codes. From that analysis, the user can identify areas where Gen Z populations are highest, indicating the greatest potential demand for electric vehicles and therefore locations where the company can direct its efforts.
