In the vast ocean floor, there are not many data available particularly not for the colored image which covered a wide area. By producing such images, a variety of image analyzing can be performed such as vegetation information and finding a new species on the ocean floor. Using Photogrammetry software, underwater video footage can be digitized, and from the digitized video, the ocean floor image map and also the 3D products can be produced for later image analysis of the ocean floor. From the 3D image of the seafloor, marine biologists easily identify the species and may be able to find a new species.
