Device location is critical to many mobile data collection and editing workflows, whether you’re in a crowded city, or a remote rural setting that’s miles from the nearest cell tower, and modern devices can determine their location even if data networks are unavailable. This session will cover how ArcGIS Maps SDKs can help you build apps that answer the key questions of “Where am I?“, “What’s around me?“, “How do I get there?” and “What do I do here?“, even if you’re offline. You’ll see how ArcGIS Maps SDKs let you work directly with on-device GPS, high accuracy external GNSS receivers, and Indoor Positioning Systems to collect and edit data from a service or from files and packages stored locally on your device.
