Many families in the past 3 years were not able to have funerals for family and friends due to COVID-19, removing any sense of closure they might have received from these ceremonies. So artist Suzanne Brennan Firstenberg teamed up with Esri product engineer Jeremiah Lindemann & anthropologist Sarah Wagner to set up an exhibition honoring all the lives lost to COVID-19 using GIS.
