Session One: ArcGIS for Developers
Over the last 10 years ArcGIS has been re-architected to maximize all the environments it is used within: cloud, web, native, and the traditional desktop and server environments. This work opens up new opportunities for developers that build on top of or extend ArcGIS. This seminar will go over the major architectural changes and what they mean for developers by exploring the tools, APIs, and business models now available to developers. Aimed at developers, program managers, and product managers, the seminar content will be full of demonstrations to highlight the benefits of this services based architecture.
Session Two: ArcGIS for Developers - A National Security Focus
Building upon the previous seminar, this presentation will focus on how the ArcGIS system and developer APIs are uniquely poised for building systems for understanding the Operating Environment. Developers, program managers, and product managers new to ArcGIS will learn how ArcGIS is an open system that provides a geospatial infrastructure and APIs which can be used to build a digital twin of the operating environment. The seminar will include success stories and demonstrations of use cases including intelligence preparation for operations, integrating with game engines for decision support, and using GIS for operations and situational awareness.
