To improve data management and to have a single authoritative source of information, Barry Keeling of Louisiana DoTD embarked on a system of engagement with the full support of the Secretary, and with an executive sponsor to ensure its success. To date the department has implemented over 45 separate applications designed to improve efficiencies and to help make better data-driven decisions.
